Best ways to get started:
This is your main navigation with a quick link to the "Feed" and to your "Account" dashboard. You can also find all the rest of the features of the app when you tap the "More" icon with the 3 lines on the right.
Across the top of our app we have an easy "submit" button where you can tap and submit event info, pics, videos, or places information for us to include in the app.
This main area is the "feed" where we post anything and everything going on in the DMV or in the Greek diaspora.
This is our streaming Greek music player. All the hottest Greek music can be streamed 24 hours a day commercial-free directly from our GreekAF Media app.
Our Events section will list all the events we post and are submitted to us by users. The events page will have all the info, phone numbers, address, gps directions, contact info, and distance from wherever you are to the event (if you allow your location).
Our Videos section is where we post our videos and any videos submitted by our users.
Our Pic gallery are all the photos submitted from our users where you can view, share, and add to you favorites.
Our Podcast section features our podcast with guests that are specific to the DMV or to the greater diaspora. You can play the episode right from the homepage or from the Podcast section.
Our Places section has info on all places important to the Greek community. From churches to restaurants to Greek businesses and organizations, you can find info here, as well as directions, distance, and more (as long as you allow your location).
The "More" menu has all the options of the app. You can get everywhere from here.
Your profile is where you can share any info and socials, as well as decide what "Groups" you can be placed in. If you're 21+ and single, you can be in a group to meet others. If you're Greek roots are in Athens or Sparta or a Greek island, you can be added to a specific group. If you volunteer to help spread the word about the GreekDMV app, you can join the DMV VIP's group. We will have a group for everything and the possibilities are endless!
In the "Users" area, you can see all the members of GreekDMV and their profiles. You can decide what to share, and if you want location on or not. If you allow contact, members can DM you and if you allow location and are out at an event or festival (or anywhere), you'll be able to see who's around you or close by. A great way to meet and make friends!
